Trekking camps
There are specially organised trekking camps in the Hunsrück for hikers and nature lovers.
This special experience focuses on wilderness and simplicity far away from the hustle and bustle. At night, thousands of stars twinkle in the sky and in the morning the birds warble their wake-up call.
Trekking camps around the Soonwaldsteig make it possible to camp legally for one night in the Hahnenbach Valley at the Schmidtburg, Alteburg, Ellerspring and Ochsenbaumer Höhe.
There are also three trekking platforms in the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park.
