On the Hunsrück cycle path past the Erbeskopf, the castle ruins of Baldenau, through Simmern to Bacharach on the Rhine, on the Nahe cycle path from the source to the estuary past the Rotenfels, along the river and through the spa town of Bad Kreuznach to Bingen or on the National Park cycle route around the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park past the Nonnweiler dam, the Erbeskopf and the Steinbach dam.
