Bernkastel
The Moselle flows through Bernkastel. The town is barely 4.5 kilometres from Traben-Trarbach as the crow flies, but the Moselle manages to flow 22.5 kilometres between the two.
The villages of the Bernkastel region in the Hunsrück hills are a real insider's tip.
In the past, they were characterised by agriculture and slate mining, while today they have their own unique atmosphere. Monzelfeld and Longkamp are the gateways to the Moselle, while Kleinich is home to an organ that is over 200 years old and was made by renowned organ builder family Stumm.
