On October 3, 2015, Germany’s most beautiful suspension bridge was inaugurated in the Hunsrück. With its length of 360 meters and height of 100 meters above a deep valley, it connects the two municipalities of Sosberg and Mörsdorf. It is an attraction among thrill seekers and adventurers.

The German federal states of Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland created the roughly 10,000 hectares large, cross-bordered, national park Hunsrück-Hochwald in the southwest of Germany between the small towns of Idar-Oberstein, Birkenfeld, Hermeskeil, Morbach and Nonnweiler.
